Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: MO or Compact License Certifications: ACLS, BCLS Must-Have: - Experience in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care - Ability to pass EKG exam - Experience managing dysrhythmias - Familiarity with acute medicine population (e.g., diabetes, renal issues, COPD) Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a Medical Surgical specialty. The ideal candidate will work the night shift and will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. The nurse will manage a patient ratio of 1:6. Experience is required in Medical Surgical and telemetry nursing. Floating within the service line may be required to meet unit needs. Candidates must have the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Experience with bedside procedures is preferred. The unit caters to acute medicine patients and does not handle surgical cases. This position requires participation in weekend shifts every other week. Professional demeanor and effective communication skills are essential for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams. All candidates must commit to adhering to healthcare protocols and standards. Orientation and training will be provided to ensure familiarity with unit operations and responsibilities.
