Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, utilizing standardized evaluation tools to inform effective treatment planning.

• Deliver personalized individual or group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to foster client growth.

• Collaboratively establish clear therapeutic goals with clients, tracking progress and adapting strategies as necessary throughout the course of therapy.

• Provide teletherapy sessions, maintaining a high standard of confidentiality and professionalism, and ensuring that clients receive the support they require regardless of location.

• Document client interactions, treatment plans, and follow-up notes promptly and accurately to comply with ethical and regulatory standards.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay informed about the latest therapeutic methods and approaches in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients served by our practice primarily deal with anxiety disorders, depression, and the effects of trauma. As a counselor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, tailoring your approach to meet their unique backgrounds and needs. Qualifications\n

• A current and valid license in the state of Washington as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to connect with clients and establish trust.

• Empathetic and non-judgmental attitude towards clients’ challenges, fostering an inclusive therapeutic experience.

• Strong organizational skills and adept time management to balance caseloads effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in a telehealth setting is highly preferred but not required; training will be provided.

• Background in working with specific populations such as adolescents, veterans, or individuals with co-occurring disorders is a plus.
