Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual psychotherapy sessions tailored to the mental health and substance abuse recovery needs of clients.
• Conduct thorough assessments and create personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Implement and administer therapeutic interventions specifically focused on substance use recovery to promote sustainable change.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant clinical documentation in alignment with organizational policies and regulatory standards.
• Engage in regular collaboration with the treatment team, ensuring coordinated care that addresses the comprehensive needs of each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, often accompanied by co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience focusing specifically on substance abuse therapy.

Preferred Experience

While 1 year of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in diverse clinical settings, particularly related to addiction counseling and crisis intervention, will be given preference. Compensation and Benefits
