Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct clinical services, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to clients dealing with major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders, both through individual therapy and group sessions.
• Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to advance collective goals and enhance client support systems, demonstrating strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Conduct brief evidence-based screenings, develop integrated care plans, and coordinate with various external resources and providers to establish connectivity and continuity of care for clients.
• Develop and execute engaging therapeutic interventions focused on client empowerment, choice, and recovery, while monitoring client progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate actively in on-call duties, responding to emergencies and providing crisis intervention services as needed, ensuring a secure and safe environment for all clients.
• Maintain compliance with ethical standards and professional guidelines, documenting all client interactions and treatment progress in a timely and precise manner.
• Contribute insights to agency committees aimed at improving service delivery and the quality of mental health support offered to the community.

The successful candidate will serve a diverse population with unique cultural backgrounds and experiences. This role will involve working with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other severe emotional disturbances. Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory for this position.
• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Virginia is required.
• Strong understanding and expertise in assessment, diagnosis, crisis management, and treatment methodologies tailored to various populations.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective engagement with clients, families, and collaborators.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a licensed social worker is required, candidates with experience working in community health settings or those who are bilingual in English and Spanish will be given special consideration.
