SUMMARY:

The Behavior Health Technician / BHT will work one-on-one with students in ABA-based clinics implementing individualized instructional and behavioral strategies. These clinics provide Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) to children aged 3-5, integrating closely with early intervention services. This full-day program aims to ensure a seamless transition between pre-school special education classrooms and the clinic setting, promoting continuous skill development. Location: Primary Assignment: Gordon Early Learning Center, 351 Kersey St, Coatesville, PA 19320 Schedule: Approximately 8am - 4pm Monday- Thursday (7.5 paid hours per day) based on student enrollment (may consider consistent partial availability) Friday hours for client hours in home or community may be available

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to implement instructional and behavioral strategies outlined in their Individualized Treatment Plan (ITP). Support the development of communication, social, and adaptive skills through structured and naturalistic teaching methods. Prompt interventions in the areas of: behavior management, conflict resolution, anger management, and peer interaction skills based on the treatment plan goals provided by a Behavior Analyst / BCBA. Collect real-time data on target behaviors and skill acquisition using digital tools and software.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in psychology, education, or a related field preferred At least 1 year experience working with children with developmental and behavioral challenges, preferably in an educational or clinical setting Knowledge of ABA principles and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams Ability to collect and document data accurately and efficiently
