Human Resources Representative
$21 - $24 per hourRound One Entertainment Inc.
Job Description:
The Human Resources Coordinator supports daily HR operations and serves as a primary point of contact for employees. This role is responsible for payroll administration, employee records management, benefits coordination, compliance reporting, and HR operational support. The position works closely with internal departments to ensure accurate recordkeeping, efficient HR processes, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Pay & Benefits
Pay Range: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour
Benefits (after 90 days):

- Paid time off starting at approximately 10 days annually
- 11 paid holidays per year
- Hybrid schedule:
- In-office Monday–Wednesday
- Remote Thursday–Friday
Key Responsibilities
Payroll & Compensation
- Process and verify payroll data including hours worked, deductions, adjustments, and PTO accruals
- Administer wage garnishments and mandated deductions
- Process employee status changes including promotions, transfers, compensation updates, and terminations
- Audit payroll-related invoices and verify accuracy before payment submission
Benefits Administration
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefit inquiries
- Support medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401(k) administration
- Coordinate annual open enrollment and benefits communication
- Process benefit invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal departments
Compliance & Reporting
- Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with company policies and employment regulations
- Assist with compliance reporting including EEO-1 and California Pay Data Reporting
- Coordinate unemployment claims and support workers’ compensation processes
- Complete employment verification requests and maintain HR documentation
- Employee Records & HR Support
- Maintain onboarding records, personnel files, policy acknowledgments, and HR correspondence
- Respond to routine HR inquiries and provide guidance on company policies and procedures
- Support employee communication and documentation processes
HR Operations
- Prepare and analyze HR reports and workforce tracking data
- Assist with meetings, training sessions, and HR initiatives
- Identify process improvement opportunities to support operational efficiency
Qualifications
- 0–1 year of Human Resources experience or related training preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
- College degree preferred but not required
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills highly preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish or Japanese is a plus, but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based role
- Hybrid work schedule available after training period
- Occasional local travel may be required
