Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate patients' emotional, social, and financial situations as they relate to their detox experience.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions targeted at helping patients cope with emotional distress, transition challenges, and grief.

• Coordinate aftercare services by connecting patients and their families with community organizations, reinforcing continuity in their recovery journey.

• Provide emotional support and education about the detoxification process, treatment options, and available resources to both patients and their family members.

• Interact with hospital committees and contribute social work insights to foster a multidisciplinary approach in patient care strategies.

• Document patient interactions and treatment plans thoroughly to comply with hospital standards and legal requirements, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
