We are looking for a CPA, an experienced tax professional, to fill a tax manager position with the expertise, knowledge, experience and skills to work with clients to meet their tax, accounting and consulting needs.
Experience/Knowledge
- Knowledge of Federal and state income tax laws
- Ability to review tax returns
- Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, clearly and effectively
- Attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
Responsibilities
- Review of federal and state tax returns for individuals, businesses, non-profits, trusts and estates
- Prepare written correspondence and other documents for submission to the IRS and other tax authorities
- Train staff and review their work
- Manage multiple clients and budgets
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA Certification
- 5+ years prior tax experience in public accounting
- Supervisory experience
- Experience reviewing individual, business, non-profit tax returns
- Strong accounting and analytical skills
- Strong computer skills: Tax software (UltraTax preferable), Excel, Word
- Excellent interpersonal skills working with other staff and clients, oral and written communication
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task with a strong work ethic
