Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Summit, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories.
\n
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that address trauma recovery and resilience-building.
\n
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions to facilitate coping strategies and emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborating with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

• Offering crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educating patients and their families about trauma responses and available coping mechanisms.

• Maintaining accurate and confidential client documentation as required by legal and ethical standards.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates are required to meet the following qualifications:
