Work Environment

Your typical workday will occur on-site, from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, within a facility designed to foster healing and recovery. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assessments and design comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, leveraging a variety of treatment techniques.
• Manage a diverse patient caseload, ensuring each patient receives dedicated attention and care that addresses their unique rehabilitation goals.
• Apply advanced knowledge of orthopedic conditions to provide assessments and interventions that maximize motion, strength, and overall functional capacity.
• Promote non-surgical treatment options, emphasizing alternative strategies to minimize medication dependencies for managing pain and facilitating recovery.
• Incorporate innovative fitness and wellness programs that promote healthy lifestyles and prevent further injuries.
• Document patient progress and treatment results accurately using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to maintain compliant and precise records.
• Foster a motivational environment by encouraging patients through their rehabilitation journey, celebrating their progress, and facilitating patient and family education when needed.
• Collaborate with inter-disciplinary healthcare teams to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Regularly evaluate and monitor treatment effectiveness, adjusting care plans based on patient progress and feedback.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clientele at our outpatient clinic possesses a wide range of conditions, including post-operative orthopedic recovery, sports injuries, chronic pain, and mobility limitations. Our focus is on promoting independence and enhancing the overall physical performance of our patients, ensuring they receive comprehensive support and interventions that match their specific needs.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida, demonstrating a commitment to a professional standard of practice.
• A clean license with no history of sanctions or board proceedings is mandatory.
• Proficient knowledge of a variety of manual therapy techniques is essential.
• Ability to develop successful, individualized exercise programs based on each patient's requirements.
• Strong proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for effective documentation.
• Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques and treatment methodologies supported by current research.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly preferred, with a focus on orthopedic care.
• A background in sports rehabilitation or work with fitness-focused populations is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
