Position Overview

Urban Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team in Lehigh Acres, Florida. This full-time position is integral to our mission of helping patients regain mobility and improve their overall quality of life. As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation center, you will provide comprehensive care through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation tailored to individual patient needs.

Located in Lehigh Acres, Florida, our center spans 5,000 square feet, featuring advanced sports medicine technology and a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care. Work Environment

The work setting is exclusively onsite in our rehabilitation center, which is designed to support a wide range of therapeutic activities. As part of an intimate team, which includes two other physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), you will benefit from an atmosphere that promotes professional collaboration and continuous learning. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., ensuring a structured yet dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed initial assessments to efficiently identify patients' objectives, health needs, and rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a personalized caseload, typically handling one patient per hour to ensure focused and high-quality care.
• Deliver evidence-based treatments to improve patient movement, strength, flexibility, and overall functionality.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy and exercise protocols.
• Motivate and educate patients on optimal health practices throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, other therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to patient care.
• Thoroughly document patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in our electronic medical record (EMR) system, WebPT.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, adjusting care plans as needed to enhance patient results and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves individuals with orthopedic conditions and injuries, many of whom have private medical insurance. The diversity of our patient population allows for a wide range of therapy experiences, from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. You will have the opportunity to work with patients of varying ages and activity levels, all striving to improve their quality of life through targeted therapy.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Florida license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Proven track record of maintaining a clean professional record, free of board or disciplinary actions.
• Strong expertise in orthopedic manual therapy techniques and the ability to implement effective exercise protocols.
• Proficient with WebPT or similar electronic medical record (EMR) software.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Experience in developing and implementing personal fitness and wellness programs customized for individual patients.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plan options, and paid time off.
