Work Environment

This role is predominantly located onsite in the home care of our patients, allowing for an intimate and personalized therapy experience. The position involves traveling to patients' homes within the Lehigh Acres area to deliver therapy sessions. Your work setting provides the opportunity to create a comfortable, safe atmosphere for patients to engage in their rehabilitation activities. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, offering a stable and predictable work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' specific objectives, challenges, and needs.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring dedicated therapeutic time.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans utilizing a variety of techniques tailored to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Consult with patients to design and guide personalized fitness and wellness regimens that promote long-term health.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercise protocols to enhance overall mobility and range of motion.
• Document treatment sessions thoroughly, maintaining accurate records to track patient progress.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Motivate and educate patients on the importance of lifestyle modifications that enhance strength, flexibility, and overall function.
• Regularly assess and adjust treatment strategies based on patient feedback and progress measurements.
• Promote non-surgical interventions to reduce reliance on medications whenever possible.

Our clientele primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and those seeking rehabilitation after traumatic events. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• A valid Florida license to practice physical therapy is mandatory.
• Applicants must maintain a clean professional record without any disciplinary actions against their license.
• Strong knowledge and expertise in manual therapy techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional skills in developing and executing patient-centered exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with WebPT EMR Software and efficient documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a home care environment or private practice focusing on orthopedic patients is highly desired.
• Proven track record of patient success stories and outcomes is a plus.
• Experience working alongside a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
