Work Environment

This position entails engaging with patients directly in their homes, fostering a comfortable and supportive atmosphere that promotes effective rehabilitation. Working onsite means you will have the opportunity to build strong, trust-based relationships with patients, guiding them through their recovery process in a familiar environment. With a Monday through Friday schedule, we also offer a flexible 4x10-hour work option, promoting work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to determine individual rehabilitation needs.
• Develop customized rehabilitation plans that are evidence-based and tailored to each patient's specific goals and limitations.
• Implement treatment strategies which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and health education to enhance patient recovery.
• Track patient progress through regular evaluations and modify treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate and enhance overall patient care.
• Provide education to patients and their families about rehabilitation goals, processes, and home exercises to encourage engagement in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on orthopedic patients, including those recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain. Your work will revolve around individuals seeking to regain their mobility and function, bringing relief from discomfort through rehabilitative therapy. Building rapport and understanding the unique needs of each patient will be essential to helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or higher.
• Possession of a current Florida Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation and patient care.
• Excellent communication abilities to engage effectively with patients, families, and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic settings.
• Experience working within home care environments is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan with a 4% company match, 3 weeks of paid time off, and 6 paid holidays.
