We are seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our team at Holistic Health PT Clinic in Lehigh Acres, Florida. Work Environment

The role requires you to work onsite in a home care environment where you will directly interact with patients in their homes. This setting allows you to deliver personalized care in a familiar environment, which can significantly facilitate their recovery and rehabilitation process. You will be working Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM, in a supportive and friendly atmosphere that encourages professional growth and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, clearly identifying their goals and functional limitations to create effective treatment plans.
• Manage a focused caseload, attending to one patient per hour, ensuring each individual receives undivided attention and care.
• Utilize evidence-based methods and develop care plans that incorporate a variety of treatment techniques to address specific patient needs.
• Design personalized exercise and wellness programs tailored to enhance strength, flexibility, and coordination in patients.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and advanced modalities to facilitate recovery and optimize patients' functions.
• Track and document treatment outcomes diligently, ensuring ongoing assessments contribute to continuous improvement in care delivery.
• Support patients in setting and achieving their health objectives while celebrating their milestones throughout the therapeutic process.
• Engage with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care, fostering a collaborative and integrative approach to health and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will be primarily focused on treating adult patients dealing with musculoskeletal and orthopedic issues. You will work with individuals rehabilitating from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions, guiding them towards regaining their physical independence. By addressing both physical and emotional aspects of rehabilitation, you will foster a nurturing environment that promotes healing and recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT or DPT) from an accredited program.
• Valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Clean record with no disciplinary actions or board violations on your physical therapy license.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy and exercise program development, with a focus on improving patient outcomes.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, preferably WebPT, for documentation and tracking patient progress.

Preferred Experience

While relevant experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, we welcome candidates who possess a passion for the profession and a desire to grow within the field. A background in patient education and an understanding of alternative therapies aimed at reducing reliance on medications will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
