Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments and evaluations to understand each client’s unique mental health status and needs.

• Collaborate with clients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect their goals and aspirations.

• Deliver individual therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies, focusing on client's strengths and solutions.

• Leverage teletherapy tools for virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility and convenience for clients.

• Engage in crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing de-escalation techniques and resource identification to ensure client safety and well-being.

• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices, new research, and clinical guidelines in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a therapist at Connection Mental Health Counseling Center, you will primarily work with adult clients who are facing a variety of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. Your role will be integral in guiding clients toward recovery and resilience, utilizing a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that foster a therapeutic alliance with clients.
\n
• Experience demonstrating compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental attitude in client interactions.
\n
• Proficiency in organizational and time-management skills, essential for managing caseload and client care effectively.
\n
• No prior disciplinary actions on your professional record.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome all licensed professionals, candidates with experience in virtual therapy, multicultural competence, and specialized training in trauma-informed care will find particular relevance in our practice. Additional certifications, such as those in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), will be advantageous.
