Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions via video chat, focusing on evidence-based techniques to enhance the mental health of your clients.

• Encourage clients to express their emotions and experiences, facilitating their journey toward self-insight and healthier relationships.

• Serve as an advocate for your clients, assisting them in establishing personal goals and exploring paths to achieve them.

• Evaluate clients’ mental health conditions and create individualized treatment plans that incorporate solution-focused interventions.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with stable adults exhibiting low acuity mental health needs; all clients are carefully screened to ensure they are appropriate for telehealth sessions. This careful matching process ensures that you engage with clients whose needs align with your expertise and preferred demographics. You can expect to develop long-term therapeutic relationships, providing meaningful support and guidance in a safe and respectful environment.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must:

• Hold a valid and fully active license to practice independently in California as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Complete a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Possess strong interpersonal skills and a genuine empathetic approach to client care.

• Demonstrate proficiency with technology and remote counseling tools.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience in telehealth counseling or familiarity with digital therapy platforms will be advantageous. Previous work with diverse populations or specialized training in particular therapeutic modalities is also welcomed and can enrich our team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 annually, based on your working hours and clinical experience. Additional benefits include:
