Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct weekly live video sessions with individual adult clients, leveraging evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address their specific mental health challenges.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatric providers and fellow counselors to formulate comprehensive treatment plans and enhance client support through interdisciplinary approaches.

• Utilize automatically administered symptom self-assessments and progress measures to monitor client improvements and adjust treatment strategies accordingly.
\n
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to clients based on their progress, fostering a trusting and productive therapeutic relationship.

• Remain actively engaged in ongoing team meetings and case discussions to exchange knowledge, strategies, and support among colleagues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on working with adult clients who face various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral concerns. Your goal will be to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors, enabling them to develop coping mechanisms and achieve personal growth.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.

• Licensing: Applicants must hold a fully licensed status as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Provisional licenses or those with disciplinary actions will not be considered.

• Strong professional judgment to assess client needs, make decisions, and formulate effective treatment plans.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong ability to establish rapport with clients.
\n
• Proficiency in using technology for virtual therapy sessions and documentation.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in an outpatient setting, is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and techniques to effectively conduct therapy sessions online.

• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competencies in mental health care.
