Work Environment

Our state-of-the-art outpatient office is designed to foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. As part of our team, you will engage with fellow physical therapists, administrative staff, and other healthcare professionals to create a seamless experience for our patients. The clinic is equipped with the latest rehabilitation technologies and tools, enabling you to employ evidence-based practices effectively. Your work hours will be Monday through Friday, consisting of 40 hours per week, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians, establishing individualized treatment plans based on their specific needs and conditions.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions, utilizing techniques suited to orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
• Deliver high-quality customer service, ensuring that all patients feel valued and involved in their care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and enhance patient outcomes through evidence-based methodologies.
• Administer skilled therapeutic procedures at the patient's residence when necessary, advocating for patient engagement in their care plans.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment processes, exercises, and health maintenance strategies for lasting recovery.
• Meet established utilization goals and contribute to the overall business objectives of the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele is diverse and includes individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or experiencing mobility challenges due to various conditions. You will play a pivotal role in addressing the specific needs of each patient, adjusting treatment techniques to cater to their individual rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective patient interactions.
• Proficiency in computer applications and electronic health records for efficient practice management.
• Ability to foster meaningful relationships with patients to empower them to achieve their therapeutic goals.
• A genuine desire to connect and engage positively with patients and their families.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized treatment areas such as sports rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, or neurological rehabilitation will be viewed favorably.
