Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments for new clients to identify their individual stressors, mental health challenges, and treatment goals, customizing mindfulness interventions that cater to their unique situations.

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions, especially Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), facilitating tailored exercises and practices that help clients manage anxiety, enhance focus, and improve emotional regulation.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation practices, and breathing techniques during individual therapy sessions, fostering self-awareness and emotional balance.

• Develop and facilitate group therapy workshops focused on mindfulness, stress management, and resilience-building strategies, creating a supportive community for clients to share and grow together.

• Maintain detailed electronic health records that document client progress, mindfulness interventions used, and updates to treatment plans, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development related to mindfulness-based approaches, seeking to continually enhance your therapeutic skills.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within Advocate Healthcare Services to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, facilitating integrated treatment plans that align with each client's needs.

The clients served by Advocate Healthcare Services come from diverse backgrounds and present with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and stress-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.

• Strong foundational knowledge of therapeutic principles and the ability to integrate mindfulness into therapeutic practice.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
