Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation including treatment plans, daily progress notes, unusual incident reports, attendance records, and discharge summaries to ensure continuity of care.

• Lead and facilitate consumer groups that focus on topics relevant to mental health challenges and coping strategies.
\n
• Engage in regular participation in staff meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and interdepartmental collaboration.

• Conduct individualized meetings with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to discuss therapeutic progress and next steps in their treatment.

• Assist clients with connecting to social services and community referrals, maintaining active relationships with local agencies and organizations to advocate for client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Virtual Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse range of clients who face various mental health challenges. Your expertise will be particularly valuable for clients dealing with perinatal mental health issues, where providing psychoeducation and support plays a critical role. Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as either a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• No history of medical malpractice claims or allegations, to be verified by a third-party reference.

• Eligibility to work in the United States.

• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working in a community health or clinical setting is preferred, with familiarity in dealing with perinatal mental health or similar fields.

• Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems to facilitate efficient documentation and patient tracking.

• Previous experience in advocating for clients within community-based resources will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our compensation package also includes health insurance benefits, retirement plans, and reimbursement for professional development.
