Key Responsibilities

As a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, you will:

• Conduct detailed patient assessments, which include gathering medical histories, performing physical examinations, and reviewing symptoms to inform clinical decisions.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic dermatological conditions, including but not limited to acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin infections.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory analyses and imaging studies, to ascertain the most effective treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and treatments tailored to the specific needs of the patient while monitoring effectiveness and adjusting protocols as necessary.
• Provide thorough counseling and education on preventive measures, health promotion, and comprehensive disease management.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including dermatologists, nurses, and administrative staff, to ensure seamless patient care and follow-up.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of all patient encounters within our electronic medical record systems, aiding in continuity of care.
