Work Environment

This position is located onsite at our hospital facility in Clifton, NJ, where you will collaborate closely with a team of healthcare professionals, including five experienced MDs and five other Nurse Practitioners. The work schedule is structured, with a commitment of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, culminating at 5:00 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology, fostering an optimal environment for patient care and staff collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and assess patients’ medical histories to formulate diagnoses.
• Order, review, and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood work and imaging studies to provide evidence-based medical care.
• Diagnose acute and chronic health conditions and develop tailored treatment plans that may include prescribing medication and therapies.
• Assist in managing patients with chronic illnesses while also supporting their families through education and guidance on health management.
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding their health conditions, treatment options, and recovery plans to empower informed decision-making.
• Document all patient interactions accurately within our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protocols.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through research, attending training sessions, and staying abreast of emerging health trends and practices.
• Promote preventive care and wellness initiatives, advising patients on lifestyle modifications and health screenings.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse group of patients within our outpatient primary care setting. Our clientele varies in age and health status, ranging from young adults to the elderly, providing you with an opportunity to treat a wide spectrum of health issues. Your work will play a crucial part in improving health outcomes in our community and ensuring that patients receive timely and effective care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid Physician Assistant license in the state of New Jersey.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field; a Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies is preferred.
• Must hold a DEA number.
• Demonstrated expertise in primary, acute, and chronic care practices.
• Strong foundation in health regulations and patient care standards.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Physician Assistant in a clinical or hospital environment.
• Specialization or experience in fields such as internal medicine, family health, urgent care, or emergency services is an advantage.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply but are not required.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 180,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the attractive salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
