Work Environment

The Physician Assistant will work onsite in our well-equipped treatment facility, which operates within a hospital setting designed for urgent care delivery. Our facility boasts modern medical technology and a collaborative atmosphere that encourages teamwork among healthcare professionals. You will work 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday, starting at 5:00 PM, engaging with patients in a structured, yet dynamic workflow tailored for efficiency and optimal care delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments by performing detailed examinations and reviewing medical histories.
• Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, including lab work and imaging studies, to formulate appropriate treatment strategies.
• Diagnose and manage a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries, from minor infections to more complex cases requiring immediate attention.
• Create, implement, and adjust comprehensive treatment plans for chronic conditions as necessary, ensuring ongoing patient engagement.
• Prescribe medications and closely monitor patient responses to treatments, adjusting as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment protocols in our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Educate patients and their families about disease processes, prevention strategies, and healthy lifestyle choices to encourage better health management.
• Foster a supportive environment by promoting health education and encouraging adherence to treatment recommendations.
• Engage in continuous learning through professional development and participation in relevant training programs.

Qualifications

• A valid Physician Assistant license in the state of New Jersey (PA-C) is required.

• Demonstrated experience as a Physician Assistant in an urgent care, emergency room, or primary care setting is essential.
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills for effective interactions with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience, plus an attractive benefits package that includes:
