Work Environment

The Physician Assistant will work onsite within our Surgical Center, fostering a collaborative environment with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, ensuring that you have access to the tools necessary for optimal patient care. You will work a Monday to Friday schedule, committing 40 hours per week, with shifts starting at 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physician Assistant, you will undertake a wide variety of clinical responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Conducting thorough patient examinations and ensuring the review of pertinent medical histories to inform treatment decisions.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood tests and X-rays to accurately diagnose conditions.
• Diagnosing and managing acute health conditions and illnesses in a timely manner.
• Developing tailored treatment plans for patients with chronic diseases, including regular monitoring and adjustments based on progress.
• Prescribing appropriate medications while monitoring their effectiveness and potential side effects.
• Maintaining meticulous patient records and managing schedules to optimize clinical workflows.
• Educating patients and families on illness management, preventive measures, and the importance of healthy lifestyle choices.
• Overseeing the holistic health and well-being of patients, facilitating a comprehensive approach to healthcare delivery.
• Engaging in continuous professional development activities to stay abreast of medical advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role primarily focuses on treating a diverse patient population that presents with urgent medical issues ranging from minor injuries, such as sprains or fractures, to more complex health emergencies. Our patients include adults and children, and you will be expected to tailor your communication and care strategies to meet the unique needs of each individual. This diverse exposure allows for comprehensive patient care experiences, enhancing your professional growth and clinical skills.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Valid Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and DEA number.
• Master's Degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program.
• Proven experience as a Physician Assistant in clinical settings, with a strong emphasis on urgent care.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this Full-Time Physician Assistant position ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, our benefits package includes:
