Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our surgical center, providing a collaborative and fast-paced environment where clinical skills are utilized daily. You will engage closely with healthcare professionals, from physicians to nursing staff, enhancing teamwork and communication to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The clinic operates Monday to Friday with a shift starting at 5:00 PM, resulting in a balanced work-life schedule conducive to personal well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and impactful, including:

• Conducting comprehensive patient examinations to assess health status and reviewing medical records for accuracy.
• Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood tests and X-rays to inform treatment decisions.
• Diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and minor injuries, applying best practices to deliver healthcare that is evidence-based.
• Formulating and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients with chronic diseases to improve their long-term health outcomes.
• Prescribing medications appropriately while monitoring patient responses to ensure efficacious treatment.
• Maintaining meticulous patient records and appointment schedules to ensure continuity of care.
• Educating patients and their families about various health conditions, preventative health measures, and effective management strategies.
• Continuously promoting health and wellness practices to empower patients to take charge of their health.
• Engaging in professional development and ongoing training to stay abreast of the latest clinical practices and innovations.

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse patient population with varying needs, from acute urgent care situations to chronic disease management. Qualifications

To be considered for this pivotal position, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• A current and valid Physician Assistant license (PA-C) in New Jersey and a DEA number.
• A minimum of 2 years of direct clinical experience, preferably in an urgent care, emergency room, or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong foundational knowledge of both primary and acute care practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and colleagues.
• A commitment to ethical medical practices and patient-centered care.
• Ability to remain composed in high-pressure medical situations, demonstrating patience and empathy.

Preferred Experience

Preference will be given to candidates who exhibit a proactive approach to learning, are comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and have experience working in a collaborative team-oriented healthcare setting. Bilingual skills are a plus but not a requisite.

Compensation and Benefits
