This full-time position is situated in Edison, New Jersey, where you will play a key role in providing exceptional healthcare services to patients in an urgent care setting. Work Environment

This role is fully onsite at our hospital facility in Edison, New Jersey. The working hours are scheduled from Monday to Friday, typically starting at 5:00 pm, comprising a total of 40 hours each week. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, and administrative staff, in a dynamic and fast-paced urgent care environment. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations by performing thorough physical examinations and reviewing medical histories, identifying urgent care needs promptly.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood screenings and imaging studies, to devise accurate diagnoses.
• Utilize clinical expertise to diagnose and manage a variety of acute health issues, from minor injuries to urgent medical conditions.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans for chronic diseases, enhancing long-term health outcomes for patients.
• Prescribe medications and closely monitor their effectiveness, making necessary adjustments for optimal patient care.
• Maintain meticulous medical records and patient scheduling, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and facilitating seamless patient flow.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, disease prevention strategies, and wellness practices.

Qualifications

• A valid State Physician Assistant license (PA-C) and a DEA number are required.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory, with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies preferred.
• Demonstrated experience as a Physician Assistant in an urgent care, emergency room, or hospital setting is essential.
• Thorough knowledge of healthcare regulations and a strong understanding of patient-centered care principles.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits
