OB/GYN Physician Assistant - Surgical Center

Presbyterian Medical P.C., located in Woodbridge, New Jersey, is seeking a qualified and dedicated full-time Physician Assistant to join our team in the Obstetrics and Gynecology department at our state-of-the-art Surgical Center. Work Environment

The position is based entirely onsite at our Surgical Center located in the heart of Woodbridge, NJ. Our facility is designed with modern therapeutic environments that promote patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel along with handling physician overflow cases, providing comprehensive care tailored to women's health needs.
• Collaborate closely with Medical Doctors, taking full advantage of their support for complex cases and clinical decision-making.
• Focus exclusively on clinic-based practice, where you will be free from call responsibilities, allowing you to maintain a balanced work-life schedule.
• Perform various clinical procedures such as IUD insertions, Nexplanon placements, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, colposcopies (if trained), and circumcisions (if trained), enhancing your practical skills.
• Engage in leadership training and mentorship programs to develop your professional skills, with ongoing support from the APC council.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will cater to a diverse patient population, focusing on women's health across all age groups. By providing personalized care, including wellness exams, prenatal education, and managing gynecological issues, you will play a vital role in influencing positive health outcomes within our community.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Active Physician Assistant Certification and an unrestricted State Medical License.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination, including boosters where mandated.
• Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program with a Master’s Degree in the field.
• Strong competencies in active listening, critical thinking, and effective communication.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an OB/GYN setting is highly preferred, allowing for an expedited integration into our clinical team.
• Experience or training using EPIC EMR systems to manage patient records efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 140,000 to 180,000 annually, based on education and relevant experience. In addition to a robust salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including:
