Work Environment

The position is entirely clinic-based within a hospital environment in Elizabeth, New Jersey. You will work a standard five-day work week, totaling 40 hours, free from call responsibilities, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Manage your own patient panel effectively while also addressing physician overflow.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, provide treatment plans, and perform various gynecological procedures including IUD placements, Nexplanon insertions, and biopsies (vulvar and endometrial), tailored to your training.
• Utilize EPIC EMR for patient documentation and management, ensuring accurate and efficient communication in our practice.
• Participate in a supportive and resourceful Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) council aimed at enhancing clinician collaboration and professional development.
• Engage in continuous education and training opportunities, including leadership roles to advance your career.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our Physician Assistants will primarily support female patients undergoing a variety of gynecological procedures and wellness checks. We prioritize a patient-centered approach, understanding that our patients' experiences and health outcomes are significantly affected by the care they receive. You will play a crucial role in fostering trust and ensuring comfort during their healthcare journey.

Qualifications

• Active Physician Assistant Certification and unrestricted state medical license.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program with a Master’s degree.
• Evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination as a prerequisite for this role; compliance with federal, state, and local regulations is mandatory.
• Excellent communication skills with proven abilities in active listening, critical thinking, and decision-making.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, particularly in Obstetrics and Gynecology, is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR systems will be beneficial for the effective management of patient information.
• Demonstrated ability to perform various gynecological procedures as needed, including colposcopies and circumcisions, is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $140,000 to $180,000, commensurate with experience. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
