Work Environment

This Physician Assistant position is offered exclusively onsite at our Surgical Center in Edison, NJ. Here, you will collaborate closely with a team of experienced and well-respected OB/GYNs and Advanced Practice Clinicians. Our clinic emphasizes a community-oriented atmosphere where clinicians are empowered to practice at the peak of their licensure, providing high-quality care without the burden of call responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a dedicated patient panel while addressing physician overflow, ensuring a seamless care experience for all patients.
• Carry out a variety of procedures, which may include IUD insertion, Nexplanon placement, endometrial and vulvar biopsies, colposcopies (if trained), and circumcisions (if trained), enhancing women's health outcomes directly.
• Collaborate with an attending physician, receiving full support and guidance, allowing for robust learning and professional development.
• Participate in leadership training and take advantage of opportunities to cultivate your professional growth within the clinic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily serve a diverse patient population, focusing on women's health issues across various age groups, from adolescence to post-menopausal care. Our commitment to evidence-based practice ensures that all patients receive individualized care tailored to their unique needs and medical histories.

Qualifications

• Current Physician Assistant Certification and unrestricted State Medical License.
• Full COVID-19 vaccination, in compliance with state regulations regarding booster doses.
• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a Master's Degree.
• Strong foundational knowledge and experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR or similar electronic medical record systems is preferred.
• Exceptional skills in active listening, critical thinking, time management, and effective communication.

Preferred Experience

While experience in an OB/GYN setting is required, candidates who have undergone additional training in procedures mentioned above will have an advantage. A proactive approach to learning and adaptability in a fast-paced clinic environment will also contribute to your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
