Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with acute or chronic pain to determine pain etiology and impact on quality of life.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, interventional techniques such as nerve blocks, and complementary therapies like acupuncture or physical therapy.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to pain management that addresses both physical symptoms and psychological well-being.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary based on therapeutic outcomes and patient feedback.
• Maintain detailed electronic health records (EHR) documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes. Familiarity with electronic health record systems will be essential to streamline patient data management.
