Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our Surgical Center, where you will work in close collaboration with a team of healthcare professionals. Our practice operates on weekdays, with no weekend or hospital inpatient responsibilities. The fast-paced environment allows you to engage with a diverse and growing patient demographic, offering a fulfilling and varied daily experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, taking detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and documenting findings in our Electronic Health Record (EMA).
• Deliver accurate diagnoses and formulate effective treatment plans for dermatological issues, ensuring that care aligns with best practices in the field.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and cosmetic treatments as appropriate, maintaining a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
• Mentor and provide guidance to clinic staff, fostering a team-oriented environment that values communication and collaboration.
• Manage a productive patient schedule, with the expectation of seeing 30 or more patients per day while maintaining quality and thoroughness in your documentation and follow-up.
• Maintain a clear line of communication with supervising physicians, consulting when necessary to enhance patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role is centered on a diverse patient base, including individuals seeking treatment for various skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and skin cancer. Additionally, you will provide cosmetic services, catering to clients looking for aesthetic improvements through procedures such as injectables and laser treatments. Your ability to build rapport with patients and deliver exceptional care will be key to fostering long-term relationships and improving overall health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physician Assistant studies plus state licensure and board certification as a Physician Assistant are mandatory.
• Successful candidates will have at least 1-2 years of experience in a dermatology setting, showcasing a solid understanding of clinical dermatology and cosmetic services.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong bedside manner, and the capacity to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail-oriented and possess exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and patient needs.
• A commitment to practicing with integrity, transparency, and a focus on team success.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with EMA or similar electronic health record systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with various dermatological procedures and the latest aesthetic treatments will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive and top-of-market annual salary ranging from USD 150,000 to 200,000, based on experience and performance. In addition to a guaranteed base salary, you will benefit from a percentage of collections, providing uncapped income potential. Our benefits package includes:
