Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct a mixture of individual, couples, family, and group counseling sessions via telehealth to meet diverse client needs.

• Employ evidence-based methodologies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to develop personalized treatment plans.

• Regularly assess the psychosocial needs of patients and provide educational resources to support their mental health.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient interactions in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure secure record-keeping.

• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to coordinate holistic patient care, collaborating with medical professionals, social workers, and support staff.

• Continuously engage in professional development through workshops, training sessions, and relevant certifications to stay current with mental health advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on cancer patients, guiding them through the emotional complexities of their experiences. This encompasses individuals in various stages, including initial diagnosis, treatment phases, recurrence, and survivorship. You will also extend support to their families, addressing caregiver stress and promoting healthy coping mechanisms for all involved.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, validated by a third-party background check.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with cancer patients or within oncology settings is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $105,000, commensurate with your caseload and experience.
