Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychological assessments to gain insights into the mental health needs of cancer patients, developing individualized treatment plans based on these assessments.

• Utilize a range of therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and supportive counseling, to provide both in-person and remote sessions tailored to the needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including therapy session notes, treatment plans, and progress evaluations, to ensure continuity of care.

• Facilitate support groups that foster community among patients, enabling them to share experiences and coping strategies.

• Stay abreast of developments in the mental health field, participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Contribute to team-based projects and initiatives that align with our organizational goals, including ways to improve patient care and access to resources.

• Provide education to patients and caregivers about mental health resources and community services available to support their journey through cancer.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on assisting cancer patients through various stages of their journey—from diagnosis to end-of-life care and survivorship. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care that addresses both the psychological and emotional aspects of living with cancer. Your expertise will empower patients and their families, helping them adjust to their circumstances and improve their resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

• Proven history of no medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party.

• Eligibility to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 , based on caseload and experience.
