As a remote position, our Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily conduct telehealth sessions. Key Responsibilities\n

You will have the following key responsibilities within your role:

• Conduct a blend of one-on-one and group telehealth counseling sessions, tailor-made to the unique needs of individuals, couples, and families.

• Utilize evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), alongside mindfulness practices, to facilitate healing.

• Continuously pursue knowledge of the latest developments in mental health therapies and effectively incorporate relevant findings into your practice.

• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold ethical standards while documenting therapy sessions, treatment plans, and client progress.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, ensuring integrated care for patients.

• Regularly conduct psychological assessments to evaluate each patient’s mental health needs and develop personalized treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily support cancer patients navigating life's complexities associated with their condition. This includes working with individuals at various stages of cancer treatment, addressing mental health needs related to diagnosis, recurrence, survivorship, and palliative care. Your role is critical in providing therapeutic interventions that enhance emotional wellbeing and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.

• A valid Social Work License is mandatory as per State Regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).
