Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs, concerns, and goals. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that cater specifically to each client's unique mental health circumstances and aspirations. Provide high-quality, evidence-based counseling services to individuals, couples, and families experiencing various mental health challenges. Work collaboratively with clients to explore coping strategies, enhance their resilience, and foster personal growth through therapeutic interventions. Maintain and manage accurate, confidential client records in compliance with professional ethical standards and HIPAA requirements. Utilize telehealth technology to deliver therapy sessions effectively, ensuring clients receive the highest quality of care despite the physical distance. Patient Population / Client Focus Your work will primarily involve clients who may be dealing with issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma and relationship challenges. By engaging with a diverse clientele, you will gain insights into various mental health struggles, allowing you to tailor your therapeutic approach effectively. You will be instrumental in guiding clients of different backgrounds, ensuring they feel understood, valued, and empowered throughout their therapeutic journeys. Qualifications Active state license in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required; advanced degrees such as a Master's or doctorate in a relevant discipline are highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency in understanding and addressing the complex mental health needs of a diverse population. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building rapport and effectively engaging clients. Knowledge and experience in employing evidence-based practices and brief therapy models suitable for a telehealth environment. Adeptness in managing a diverse caseload in a fast-paced virtual counseling setting. Preferred Experience Prior experience in a telehealth or remote counseling setting, adapting therapy methods to accommodate virtual interactions. Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes and share best practices. A background in working with specific client populations, such as children, adolescents, or families, may be beneficial. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 63,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
