Key Responsibilities

As an Outpatient Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians to determine appropriate therapy plans.
• Developing individualized treatment programs tailored to meet each patient’s unique needs, ensuring alignment with their physician’s plan of care.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and modalities to facilitate patient recovery, enhance function, and alleviate pain.
• Documenting patient progress diligently and making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to achieve the best outcomes possible.
• Providing patient education and advocating self-management strategies to empower patients and their caregivers.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care coordination and optimize recovery results.
• Meeting specified utilization rates while maintaining high standards of customer service and care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patient population will encompass a wide variety of orthopedic cases, including but not limited to sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic pain management. In addition, you may interact with pediatric and neurologic patients, broadening your clinical expertise and allowing for a comprehensive understanding of patient care across demographics. By establishing strong therapeutic relationships and employing research-driven treatment modalities, you will play a crucial role in helping patients regain their independence and enhance their quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills and experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Ability to establish rapport and maintain relationships with patients, families, and team members.
• Passion for helping individuals achieve their functional goals and improve their overall well-being.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:
