Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ current mental health status and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs and desires.

• Prepare and maintain accurate intake summaries, case summaries, and treatment documentation in accordance with state regulations and NCQA standards.
\n
• Engage in telehealth sessions with clients, ensuring a warm and inviting virtual environment that encourages dialogue and participation.

• Develop and implement evidence-based therapeutic strategies while continuously monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.

• Participate in clinical team meetings and case conferences to discuss treatment plans and share insights that lead to improved client outcomes.

• Research external community resources and effectively refer clients to additional support services as needed.
\n
• Handle multiple cases simultaneously with a focus on delivering timely and effective mental health support.

• Participate in the department's on-call rotation, contributing to 24-hour patient care availability.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve an elderly population, addressing age-specific concerns such as grief, anxiety, depression, and the challenges associated with aging. Your empathy and understanding will be crucial in helping clients navigate these complex issues, develop coping strategies, and establish supportive structures within their lives. An emphasis on geriatric mental health will enhance your experience and effectiveness in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A valid and active license as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent mental health certification specific to California.

• No associate-level licenses will be accepted due to Medicare billing requirements.
\n
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, for documentation and communication tasks.

• Ability to work independently while managing a full caseload and navigating a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing mental health services to geriatric clients is preferred but not mandatory.

• A background in telehealth practices is highly beneficial, helping you adapt to the technology and dynamics involved in remote therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role is competitive, ranging from USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
