Our client is seeking a Rock Star Executive Chef to lead a high-volume restaurant and event-driven culinary operation in Honolulu. Executive Chef Requirements & Qualifications

Extensive progressive culinary leadership experience within high-volume restaurant operations, current or previous Executive Chef-level leadership strongly preferred, proven experience leading high-volume, full-service restaurant culinary operations, strong P&L knowledge with demonstrated ability to manage food cost, labor, purchasing, and profitability, proven ability to recruit, train, coach, develop, and retain high-performing culinary teams, strong understanding of kitchen scheduling, forecasting, inventory, and operational controls, ability to maintain consistent recipe execution, food quality, presentation, and speed of service, strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and local health regulations, required food management and safety certifications, excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, ability to work a flexible schedule based on business demands.

Executive Chef Preferred Background & Skills

Current Hawaii culinary leadership experience strongly preferred, strong knowledge of the Honolulu/Waikiki hospitality and culinary market, high-volume polished casual, upscale casual, resort, or entertainment restaurant experience, experience with banquet, catering, private dining, and large-scale events, proven success managing and developing diverse culinary teams, strong track record of building kitchen culture and developing future leaders, creative culinary mindset balanced with disciplined recipe and brand execution, experience managing complex, high-volume operations in destination or tourism-driven markets, strong career stability and progressive leadership responsibility.
