- Facilitate patient interviews and process all necessary demographic and financial information
- Verify insurance coverage and obtain required authorizations and pre-certifications
- Maintain compliance with hospital and department policies and procedures
- Accurately enter patient data and ensure positive identification to prevent identity theft
- Possess thorough knowledge of the Registration Representative's role in disaster situations and industry regulations
- Explain forms and obtain necessary signatures adhering to legal and facility guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous business office or retail experience
- Preferred: Experience in a hospital, business, or physician office environment
- Familiarity with medical terminology is advantageous
