Responsibilities include prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments with prospects, presenting product options, and meeting a sales quota. The Business Development Account Manager will serve as a vital link between our customers and our internal teams, partnering closely with Operations to ensure a seamless and positive experience for every client. They will be responsible for understanding our customers' unique business needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of equipment that aligns with those needs. Key Responsibilities Meet monthly sales and installation quotas Identify, prospect, and sell new customers Generate revenue and meet sales targets Develop and qualifyleads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold-calling and lead generation campaigns Gather and utilize business intelligence on prospects to support sales calls, product presentations and drive new business Establish and maintain collaborate relationships with operations, corporate staff, and field sales organization Our Business Development Managers enjoy Solid base salary and uncapped commission potential Training with Regional Sales and Operations Managers Tablet and phone Annual award recognition events Essential Duties and Responsibilities Proactivelyidentifyand pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market research Develop and build a pipeline of potential clients to meet and exceed sales targets Conduct outreach to prospective customers to introduce products and services, effectively communicating value propositions Qualify leads to ensure they match the company's ideal customer profile and have strong growth potential Schedule and conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations with prospective clients Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to closenew saleswhile ensuring profitability Collaborate with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and outreach strategies to generate leads Act as a market leader to develop networking relationships that drive new business leads Maintain detailed records of prospect interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities within CRM systems Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new opportunities Develop a strategic plan for territory growth, focusing on high‑potential accounts and long‑term relationships. Position Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience Minimum five years of outside sales experience Proven track record of success in new business development with a short sales cycle Strong prospecting and lead generation skills, with the ability to identify and approach potential clients Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to effectively deliver presentations and product demonstrations Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines and customer interactions Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced environment Work Environment and Physical Demands Sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, frequent near vision use for reading and computer use Drive a vehicle for up to 50 percent of the hours worked Attributes for Success Energetic self-starter Self-disciplined who is able to manage a territory from a remote home‑office base Possess a personal responsibility to hitting sales targets and holding oneself accountable Possess an outgoing, friendly personality who treats others with respect Willingness to act with integrity and uphold Company core values The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by people assigned to this classification.
