Business Development Manager-Emerging Markets

The Business Development Manager–Emerging Markets is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across targeted industrial and adjacent market sectors. This role plays a critical part in RIFAST Systems LLC’s growth strategy by expanding the company’s presence into new industries, applications, and customer segments. This position is heavily focused on business development, market expansion, and relationship building with prospective customers in emerging markets. This role requires a proactive, growth-oriented individual who can identify opportunities, develop strategic customer relationships, and position RIFAST Systems LLC solutions within new markets. The Business Development Manager partners cross‑functionally with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership to align customer opportunities with RIFAST Systems LLC’s capabilities and long‑term business objectives. Essential Duties and Position Responsibilities Business Development & Market Expansion Identify, target, and develop new business opportunities to grow revenue and diversify the customer base within emerging industrial and adjacent market sectors such as appliances, energy storage, data centers, white goods, industrial products, and other diversified manufacturing sectors. Proactively pursue new customers, applications, and markets aligned with RIFAST Systems LLC’s strategic growth initiatives. Research market trends, customer roadmaps, competitive activity, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities. Build relationships with key decision‑makers, purchasing teams, engineers, and operational stakeholders within prospective customer organizations. Drive pipeline development activities, including prospecting, networking, customer outreach, and lead generation efforts. Prepare and review key performance indicators (KPIs), progress reports and new sales forecasting on a regular basis for review with leadership. Customer Relationship Management Act as primary liaison for customer communications, ensuring timely and accurate flow of information between customers and internal teams. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication, technical understanding, and consistent follow-through. Collaborate with customers to understand current and future product, sourcing, and operational requirements. Support customer issue resolution, commercial discussions, and ongoing account development activities. Represent RIFAST Systems LLC at customer meetings, trade shows, conferences, and industry events to support business development efforts and market visibility. Commercial & Cross‑Functional Coordination Responsible for all commercial interaction between RIFAST Systems LLC and customer including, but not limited to: Estimates and quotations Support pricing strategies, contract discussions, and commercial negotiations aligned with company objectives. Prepare and maintain sales forecasts, pipeline reporting, and business development updates for leadership review.Gather customer feedback and market intelligence to support strategic planning and future growth initiatives. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in business development, industrial sales, automotive sales, manufacturing sales, or related commercial environment, including at least 1–2 years of experience supporting industrial or adjacent market sales initiatives. Demonstrated success and proven track record in developing new business opportunities, expanding customer relationships, and driving revenue growth within industrial, manufacturing, or adjacent market environments. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineered products, fasteners, metal stamping, or adjacent markets preferred. Work Environment and Travel Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 40–65% of the time. Ability to perform work in office, customer, and manufacturing/operational environments as needed. Ability to stand, walk, and move between work areas and customer and operational locations as required. This position offers a competitive base salary range of $115,000-$145,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
