Work Environment The role is entirely remote, enabling you to connect with clients from the comfort of your home or preferred workspace. As a telehealth counselor, you will utilize cutting-edge technology to facilitate therapy sessions and engage with clients across various demographics, including individuals, families, and groups. This setup not only offers you a work-life balance but also allows for the flexibility to accommodate diverse client schedules, as we operate from 7 am to 10 pm, seven days a week. Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Liberty Healthcare & Youth Services, your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting individualized assessments and evaluations to create tailored therapy strategies for each client. Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to a variety of clients, focusing on effective modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy. Maintaining accurate clinical records that comply with legal and ethical standards, ensuring client confidentiality and high-quality care. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans that address the unique needs of each client. Participating in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions to stay abreast of the latest mental health research and practices. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing various challenges. Our telehealth approach is particularly beneficial for clients who may have barriers to in-person therapy, such as transportation issues or geographical limitations. Your expertise in areas such as family dynamics, substance misuse, trauma recovery, and relationship counseling will be invaluable in supporting our clients' unique therapeutic journeys. Qualifications To qualify for the Licensed Professional Counselor position, candidates must meet the following criteria: A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field. An active and unrestricted license to practice as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania. A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical setting. Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health. Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, capable of establishing rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds. Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team. Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and telehealth platforms. Preferred Experience While all qualified applicants are encouraged to apply, special consideration will be given to those with: Experience in family therapy and couples counseling, particularly in addressing issues of substance misuse or trauma. Advanced certifications in specific therapeutic methodologies. Compensation and Benefits The salary for the Licensed Professional Counselor position ranges from $70,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
