Key Responsibilities In your role as an LPC, you will: Engage with clients in therapeutic sessions, providing evidence-based counseling interventions, including crisis management and emotional regulation strategies. Assess and evaluate clients' mental health needs through comprehensive diagnostic evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans that emphasize achievable therapeutic goals. Coordinate with clients' support systems, including family members and other healthcare providers, to ensure a holistic approach to treatment and effective discharge planning. Maintain meticulous documentation of all client interactions, including progress notes and treatment updates, adhering to confidentiality protocols and organizational standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to develop and refine treatment plans based on psychosocial assessments and best practices within the realm of mental health counseling. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population, primarily focusing on individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and other common mental health disorders. Qualifications The position requires: A Master's degree in Professional Counseling or a related mental health field. A valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Demonstrated proficiency in using technology, including telehealth platforms and electronic medical record systems, along with standard office software such as MS Office. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience in outpatient settings, particularly those who have worked in telehealth environments, will be highly regarded.
