Vital Edge Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to expand our telehealth services. This full-time role will allow you to conduct virtual counseling sessions with clients from the comfort of your own home. Key Responsibilities

• Perform virtual assessments to identify clients' mental health challenges, using standardized assessment tools and questionnaires.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs, preferences, and strengths, implementing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
• Conduct regular telehealth counseling sessions using secure online platforms, ensuring effective engagement and rapport with clients.
• Maintain meticulous client records to document progress, treatment plans, and therapeutic outcomes while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to create comprehensive care strategies that support clients' overall well-being.
• Participate in ongoing professional development, engaging in workshops, seminars, and supervision to enhance your clinical skills and knowledge in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse client population, encompassing various backgrounds and mental health challenges. Our clients range from adolescents to adults facing issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Your ability to connect with individuals from unique cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds will be instrumental in fostering therapeutic relationships that promote healing and growth.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
• Active state license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in providing counseling services in a clinical setting.
• Proficient in using telehealth platforms with a strong understanding of virtual therapy protocols.
• Exemplary communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on empathy and active listening.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

Vital Edge Counseling Center offers a competitive annual salary range of $80,000 to $90,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
