Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate client mental health needs, safety concerns, and treatment goals, ensuring that you tailor a personalized treatment plan.

• Maintain consistent and scheduled therapeutic sessions with clients, utilizing various therapeutic modalities as appropriate, including EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS).

• Provide crisis intervention services as necessary, addressing immediate client needs while ensuring ethical considerations and safety are prioritized.

• Collaborate with fellow counselors for consultation and supervision, fostering a supportive environment that emphasizes best practices in trauma recovery.

• Document client progress and treatment outcomes accurately using electronic health record systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, including participation in training opportunities and consultation groups.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client base primarily consists of adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families, each dealing with varying degrees of trauma. Your expertise in trauma-informed practices will be crucial in helping clients navigate their unique challenges, and your commitment to their welfare will enable you to cultivate trusting therapeutic relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in mental health counseling or related field is required; however, a Master's degree is preferred to ensure comprehensive knowledge and skill on the job.

• Licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC), Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon is strongly preferred, or eligibility for licensure.

• Deep understanding of trauma-informed care principles, along with experience working in trauma or PTSD modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience and/or specialized training in EMDR and IFS.

• Prior experience in a remote telehealth setting is advantageous, helping you adapt quickly to a virtual counseling environment.
