Cost Accounting Manager (99% Remote)Remote (Monthly onsite required in Winona, MN)Competitive + 10–15% BonusWhy This Opportunity Stands OutRemote flexibility with limited onsite requirements (primarily during month-end)High visibility with leadership and cross-functional teamsOpportunity to modernize and improve a highly manual cost accounting functionHands-on role with ownership of core accounting and operational processesExposure to ERP systems and process optimization initiativesStable, growing manufacturing company with long-term investment in operationsAbility to influence reporting, controls, and automation effortsWhat You'll DoLead cost accounting processes including inventory, WIP, and product costingOwn key components of the month-end close, especially early close activitiesAnalyze variances and translate findings into actionable insightsPartner with operations to ensure accurate and timely financial dataEnhance ERP data and reporting (Navision/AS400 preferred)Identify and implement process improvements across accounting workflowsWhat You Bring5+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing or distributionStrong understanding of inventory, WIP, and cost structuresExperience with ERP systems; Navision or AS400 preferredBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Creative Financial Staffing
