Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour / Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year permanent experience in specialty required License: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact license in hand Certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Must-Have: - Must have 12 months permanent experience in the specialty applying for - Traveler must work at least every other holiday - ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate must be completed during orientation with acceptable scores - One reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for is required for submission - Required certifications must be active and in hand at the time of submission - Must be nicotine-free for candidates not in the exempt categories Description: We are seeking a Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse. The nurse will provide care for patients in a medical-surgical telemetry setting. The nurse may float to other units to care for the same patient population if needed. Shift rotation is required, with night shifts from 7 pm to 7:30 am and day shifts from 7 am to 7:30 pm. There may be variation in shifts to meet operational needs. Previous experience in a similar setting is preferred. The ideal candidate must demonstrate competency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety. Candidates are required to maintain professional standards and contribute to a positive work environment. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs and developing care plans. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
