Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the frequency and intensity of symptoms related to mood disorders in clients, using validated assessment tools.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that respectfully align with clients’ goals, preferences, and cultural backgrounds.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate effective treatment outcomes.

• Guide and educate clients and their families on mood disorder management, treatment options, coping strategies, and self-care best practices.

• Regularly monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback to optimize therapeutic effectiveness.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and responses to clients’ diverse needs.

• Stay updated on current research and developments in mood disorder interventions, incorporating findings into practice for improved treatment delivery.

• Maintain meticulous, confidential records in compliance with state and federal regulations, adhering to ethical guidelines in all client interactions.

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our clientele includes diverse groups, such as those affected by homelessness, newcomers seeking refuge, and survivors of domestic abuse.
