Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish individual treatment plans, taking into account their medical history and specific rehabilitation goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise regimens, manual therapy, and advanced modalities to diminish pain and enhance mobility.
• Create and implement customized rehabilitation protocols that empower patients to achieve their highest potential in recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Conduct follow-up assessments and redefine therapeutic goals in collaboration with patients.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on assistive devices and effective strategies to promote safe mobility and self-care.
• Maintain current knowledge of best practices by engaging in professional workshops, reading current literature, and participating in industry networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility serves a wide range of patients, from children to adults, with various diagnoses, such as orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, post-surgical recovery, and preventative care. The ideal physical therapist will be adept at building rapport with a diverse clientele and adjusting therapeutic approaches to match individual patient needs and lifestyles.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required (a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred).
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.

• Proficiency in documentation and using software to maintain patient records.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
