Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Medical Center Patrol in Tustin, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon03:00 PM - 11:30 PMTue03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSat03:00 PM - 11:30 PMSun03:00 PM - 11:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns. Monitor access points and assist with directing visitors, vendors, and staff in accordance with facility procedures. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and emergency responders as needed. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Access control and badge experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred. The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
